Teresa Suits
Instructor - Lyrical, Jazz & Princess Dance
Teresa is a Florida native and began her dance training in Homestead, Florida at Donna Lee Studio of Dance, studying ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acrobatics, and tap. While at Donna Lee, Teresa joined their dance company, Expressions, a performance based youth dance company. Teresa was also a member of her high school’s dance team, and competed at American Dance Alliance, as well as Nuvo and 24 SEVEN Dance conventions. She participated in various summer intensives, including American Ballet Theatre, Orlando Ballet, and Florida State University.
Teresa studied agricultural communication at the University of Florida, graduating in 2017 with an undergraduate degree and 2020 with a master’s degree. While studying at UF, Teresa taught at Momentum Dance Arts and became one of their resident competition choreographers.
She has experience and a passion for teaching children ballet, mini acro, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and beginner tap. In her dance classroom, Teresa emphasizes instilling dedication and a love for dance in her students.
